For the handyman who loves DIY we have a range of product and can supply you directly from our showroom/warehouse in Petone.

Install Process

Work out the area you need to cover – please note – all turf has a grain to it and must be run in the same direction when installed, so you may need more turf than the physical m2 area of your lawn. If you are not sure we can help form a roll plan to calculate the most efficient use of the turf.

DIY products

TURF – All our turf product is supplied as a lineal metre measurement. It is all manufactured to 3.7 metres wide (3.66m for exact site measuring). Prices vary from $165-$275 + GST per lineal metre.
Stored in our pallet racking we will need two days notice to cut and prepare your order
SEAM adhesive tape – specialist adhesive tape 150mm wide X 10 metres, designed for DIY (no glue required) – $50 per roll
GROUND NAILS – used to hold the turf in place, or pin turf edges down where it is impractical or not possible to install a permanent edging – $50 per box of 100
SILICA SAND – specialist turf sand (kiln dried) that is applied and broomed into the turf to hold the turf down and stand the yarn up. Supplied as 25kg bags – $20 each
12mm shockpad – perfect for laying over uneven/rough surfaces and also provides extra softness to hard surfaces – $40 per lineal metre
Turf Offcuts – we always have plenty of turf offcuts available at our warehouse for purchase. Multitude of sizes and everything under 3m2 is free! Please call our office to enquire.
